GP Surgery Improves Appointments System
Cambridge Avenue Medical Centre has responded to feedback from Healthwatch North Lincolnshire. Members of the public were invited to tell us their experiences of local health and social care services through our experience survey. One of the issues raised was the difficulties around making a GP appointment and the availability of appointments.
Cambridge Avenue Medical Centre had already recognised this was a problem and the Healthwatch survey results reflected the need for more information to be made available to patients. The Centre has responded to this feedback by introducing an appointment information sheet “The Appointment System Explained…” raising awareness of the different ways that patients can book appointments and the different types of appointments available.
