Come and meet your hospital governors

There are at least two chances to catch your Trust governors this month at various meetings.

Whether it’s a one-on-one chat or if you need feedback for an item put forward for discussion at the monthly meetings, the governors are available to represent Trust members and the public across the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust area.

The first opportunity to raise any issue or concern is at the Goole governor drop-in session. The next one will be held on Tuesday December 10, from 3pm to 5pm in the Coffee Bean café at Goole hospital.

Trust members and the public are welcome to attend to mix with their local hospital governors in an informal setting.

Following this, the next Scunthorpe governor and members forum will take place in Butterwick House dining room at Scunthorpe hospital on Wednesday December 11, from 3pm to 5pm.

This meeting is open for anyone to attend and items for discussion can be brought to the attention of the governors by contacting the Foundation Trust membership office – call 01724 387946 or email nlg-tr.foundationtrustoffice@nhs.net

Please try and give as much notice as possible to enable governors to consult and get answers to queries before the meeting.

Membership of the Trust is open to any member of the public. Membership allows people to keep up-to-date with Trust news, receive invitations to special events and lectures and become eligible to vote for or stand for election to the Council of Governors.

Prospective members should also contact the membership office on 01724 387946, email nlg-tr.foundationtrustoffice@nhs.net or complete the membership recruitment form online on the Trust website www.nlg.nhs.uk/membership

Another date for your diary

On Tuesday December 17, the Trust’s board of directors meeting will take place in the main boardroom at Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, a time is yet to be confirmed.

The agenda for any meeting will be made available on the Trust website, www.nlg.nhs.uk nearer the time.
