Volunteer for Healthwatch North Lincolnshire
Are you passionate about Health and Care?
Can you spare a few hours a month?
Why not volunteer with Healthwatch North Lincolnshire?
We're looking for more people to join our Enter and View team. Part of the work plan of Healthwatch North Lincolnshire is to undertake Enter and View visits. Healthwatch authorised representatives carry out visits to health and care services to see how services are being run and make recommendations where there are areas which require improvement.
The Health and Social Care Act allows representatives of local Healthwatch to Enter and View premises and carry out observations for the purpose of local Healthwatch activity. Visits can include hospitals, residential homes, GP practices, dental surgeries, opticians and pharmacies. Enter and View visits can take place where people tell us there is a problem with a service or where services have a good reputation so we can learn about and share examples of best practice.
We’re running a training day where you can find out more about getting involved in Enter and View:
Tuesday 3rd November, 5.15pm - 7.30pm, Learning Development Centre, Enderby Road, Scunthorpe.
Volunteer application forms will be made available on the day for those interested in the role.
