Update - Outpatients survey
During Nov/Dec 2017 381 people from North and North East Lincolnshire helped us to understand their experiences of local outpatients clinics. They told us in person, online and by post.
We asked about a range of subjects including the referral process, waiting times (from referral to appointment and also time waiting to be seen in clinic), information they had been given about their appointment and their preferred methods of communication.
Based upon the findings we have been able to make recommendations to service providers on areas for improvement / consideration.
The full Outpatients ‘Views from the clinic’ report is available to view or download free from our website: healthwatchnorthlincolnshire.co.uk/reports. The report has been distributed to both CCG’s (Clinical Commissioning Group—who commission services) in North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Healthwatch England, NHS England, Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG)
Services have 20 working days to respond and we will publish their responses online and in upcoming news letters.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all the patients who took part in the survey and to the Healthwatch volunteers who helped gather the feedback. We would also like to sincerely thank the staff at Scunthorpe General Hospital and Diana Princess of Wales Hospital who were very helpful throughout our visits.
