Hospital trust remain in special measures


The Care Quality Commission conducted an inspection of your local hospitals in May 2018 to make sure that the required improvments had been made.

They rate services under five criteria:

  • Safe
  • Effective
  • Caring
  • Responsive
  • Well-led

Services are rated under these four criteria:

  1. Inadequate
  2. Requires improvment
  3. Good
  4. Outstanding

Following the May 2018 inspection the rating were:

  • Safe - requires improvement
  • Effective - requires improvment
  • Caring -Good
  • Responsive - requires improvment
  • Well-led - Inadequite 

The rating of Scunthorpe General Hospital improved, from inadequite to requires improvement.  

The rating of Diana Prince of Wales Hospital stayed the same, rated as requires improvement. 

The rating of Goole and District Hospital went down, rated as requires improvement. 

The rating of the trust’s community services went down, now rated as requires improvement.
