Healthwatch Festival of Wellbeing
From 10am on Sunday the 28th of July, Healthwatch North Lincolnshire will be hosting the second annual festival of wellbeing at Normanby Hall Country Park.
Healthwatch North Lincolnshire and Normanby Hall are working together to host this fun and engaging event, which is guaranteed to offer something for the whole family.
Normanby hall have generously waived parking and entrance fees for all visitors this year in support of the event and encourage as many visitors as possible.
Local people are invited to take part in a range of fun and interactive activities from martial arts to mindfulness.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak to representatives from a range of health and care services who will be on hand to provide expert information and advice.
Carrie Butler, Manager of Healthwatch North Lincolnshire said ‘We are incredibly excited to be hosting the festival once more for the people of North Lincolnshire. The festival really is the an ideal opportunity to bring together local organisations and residents of North Lincolnshire in a fun and positive way to promote health and wellbeing’
As well as a range of services showcasing their work, the ‘Ray of Sunshine’ award will be presented to someone within health and care who has gone above and beyond in the last year to improve the lives of people in North Lincolnshire.
Young people are also being invited to take part in a poster competition to illustrate all the different ways to keep mentally well. The winner will be announced on the day. More information is available is available on our website.
