Domestic Abuse


The Blue Door is a service that provides support to anyone that has experienced domestic abuse and sexual violence in North and North East Lincolnshire. They offer outreach support, drop in groups, advocacy and counselling at their Scunthorpe base of Laneham Street, DN15 6LJ. They are a part of Grimsby and Scunthorpe Rape Crisis and were formerly known as The It’s My Right Service.

North Lincolnshire Women's Refuge
Providing support for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.

The Housing Advice Team will do their best to advise, help and signpost with regard to any general questions or problems around housing.

The Humberside Police Domestic Violence Team can help to support you if you are experiencing domestic violence. 
They are comitted to preventing domestic abuse, and bring to justice those who commit it.

Vivtim Support is an independent charity in England which provides specialist practical and emotional support to victims and witnesses of crimes.

The Samaritans are a charity who can provide support to anybody in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or is at risk of suicide.

Childline is a counselling and support service provided for children up to the age of 19. It is run by the NSPCC. 
Children can contact them if they are concerned about a number of issues including bullying, violence at home, low moods, and more.
